This allows me to better understand the scope as well as the little details that sometimes get obscured during a transition from designer to designer. As someone who understands design standards well, my skill set has become well rounded.

My Toolbox

The Adobe Creative Suite is my number one tool when it comes to design. I've been using Adobe products for 9 years and I've never looked back. As for coding, I prefer BBEdit by Bare Bones.
