Bootlegger is one of Canada's most successful national retailers, providing great jeans, and everything that goes with jeans, for value and style conscious young adults.

Bootlegger started in 1971, and the ideas that were important to us then are still important today: amazing product and great teamwork. Our mission is to deliver genuine and remarkable experiences, not only for our customers, but also for our teams and we do this through bringing our values to life everyday. Bootlegger also the sister comany of Ricki's.

The Task At Hand

Work was done through Cowie and Fox. Bootlegger is going ecommerce. The challenge was to take their existing website and turn it into an online store.

I worked very closely with the talent from Elastic Path as they were proving the ecommerce backend and as a result I became the bridge between the two teams. I was involved in every step from the initial wireframing to the final build and the stuff in between of course. This project allowed me to, for the first time, work with velocity code which was fun. Overall, the client was very satisfied and so were we.
